Dr Saifudeen is a Senior Consultant in KIMSHealth in the Department of Internal Medicine and Benign Haematology, with over 45 years of experience in Clinical Medicine and 20 years of faculty experience with the Royal College of UK. He is also a veteran faculty and the Chief Organizer of the PACES examination at KIMSHealth, Trivandrum. He was previously employed at the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah under the Ministry of Health, Oman as the Head of the Department of Medicine, and Haematology for 32 years. Dr Saifudeen is a Postgraduate in Internal Medicine from the Madras University in Chennai, India. He completed his MD meritoriously as the best outgoing student in 1982, following which he worked as a specialist in Internal Medicine with the Kerala Health Services and in Saudi Arabia. He is also a member of the International Society of Haematology (ISH), the International Society of Thrombosis & Haemostatis and The American Society of Haematology. He has had 25 publications and presentations in various journals.
